Tasting notes
Bright ruby-red. Black fruits, licorice and minerals on the nose. A dense, rich midweight with slightly chunky flavors of blackberry, currant, dark chocolate and menthol. Boasts very good stuffing but could use a bit more verve and lift. Finishes with nicely ripe, chewy tannins.

(a blend of 68% merlot, 22% cabernet franc and 10% cabernet sauvignon; 13.2% alcohol following a bit of saignee Good bright ruby. Precise aromas of blackberry, currant, minerals and licorice pastille. Juicy, intensely flavored and tightly wound, with lovely spicy high notes and firm minerality lifting the berry fruit. No shortage of power here. Tannins are substantial but broad and fine-grained. Finishes with lovely length and lift.
