Score 16.5/20 · Drink 2015-2024, Tamlyn Currin, jancisrobinson.com, Mar 2015
Very dark blood-crimson colour. Smelt savoury and slightly vegetal when first opened but after a few hours of decanting it softened and sweetened and opened up to ripe blackcurrant with a whiff of char. A delicious blackcurrant and mulberry nub of fruit, tightly wrapped in crisp dry tannins, almost rustling they are so tissue-paper fine. Some tapenade-and-herbs bitterness on the finish. (TC)

A wine with good minerality and chalky character with the cool fruit. Comes up a little short. But good quality. James Suckling, jamessuckling.com
