Medium red. Expressive aromas of cedar, nuts and truffle. A sweet, suave midweight, with a supple texture and moderate nuance. Offers a flavor of sweet strawberry, like grenache, or mature Burgundy. Finishes with dusty, toothcoating tannins and a slight dry edge.

Based in the foothills of Bolgheri, Ornellaia is one of the original Super Tuscans, making some of Italy’s finest Cabernet blends. Created by Lodovico Antinori, today the estate is owned by the Frescobaldi family, which also owns sibling property Masseto.
