The 1990 is opaque in color, with a huge, peppery, spicy, black cherry nose intermingled with aromas of Provencal herbs. In the mouth, there is excellent richness, a density and thickness to the texture, fine spice, tannin and glycerin in the long finish. It should drink well for 10-12 or more years.
