Tasting notes
52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 20% Petit Verdot. 39.57 hl/ha. Harvested 26 September to 17 October. Dark garnet hue. Bright and lifted with leafy, blackcurrant notes and a hint of liquorice. Smooth attack with a greater density of fruit. Tannins just that bit silkier. Adequate freshness. More poised and refined compared with the previous vintages tasted. (JL)

52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 20% Petit Verdot. Magnum. Very winning indeed. Beautifully ripe with fully melded tannins but great depth and balance. (JR)
Tasted blind. Blackish crimson. Pale rim. Some light cassis aroma. A bit scrawny. This is on the cusp of refreshing and austere. Lots of restraint! Very backward and not emphatic. GV (JR)
