Tasting notes
(made from 57% chardonnay and 43% pinot noir; L052 1113): Light, bright gold. Toasty pit and orchard fruit scents are complicated by sweet butter, chamomile and honey. Smoky, penetrating peach pit and pear flavors are braced by a note of bitter blood orange and pick up spiciness with air. Closes firm and long, with excellent clarity and a hint of fresh fig.

(L052 1113): Bright yellow-gold. Ripe orange and peach on the fragrant, floral-accented nose and in the mouth. Red fruit and spice notes come up with air, along with notes of orange marmalade and ginger. Finishes with excellent energy and punch, leaving smoky lees, buttered toast and bitter orange pith notes behind.
A bit more evolved than the Grand Reserve and lacks a little freshness. (JR)
(57% chardonnay and 43% pinot noir; L003 1113) Light gold. The nose displays an array of citrus and pit fruit aromas, complicated by an intense floral quality and an exotic touch of cherry pit. Broad but racy, with sharply focused orange and honeysuckle flavors and a deeper peach pit quality. The very persistent finish features lingering spice and citrus zest notes. This should be very flexible with rich or lighter foods.
