Score 76/100 · Drink 2002, Robert Parker, Jun 1996

My last bottle of the 1970 Talbot, from an ill-advised purchase in the early seventies, proved to be no better than the other eleven clunkers. Tannic, angular, thin, and acidic, with harsh tannin and no fruit, this wine was astringent young, astringent in middle-aged, and astringent old.
