Tasting notes
Highly perfumed nose of crushed stone, lavender and ginger. Rich, dense, creamy and fine-grained, with very ripe flavors of apricot and peach nectar. Harmonious, round and seamless, with a fairly substantial dosage This shows the thickness and richness of the vintage without coming across as heavy. Finishes ripe and long.

Deep, slightly earthy nose dominated by suggestions of older juice; shows an almost Tokaji-like quality. Then quite rich in the mouth but youthfully awkward, with flavors of Granny Smith apple and quince complicated by hints of nuts and earth and a saline component. Big, ripe and long on the finish, with a nutty quality giving the wine a slight dry edge. Another rich, thick, slightly rustic example of the 1995 vintage. Also tasted: NV Rose.
