From a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cab Franc the 2011 Beauregard has lovely sweet fruit and is full of life. Very nice.

Tasted blind. Dark ruby. A bit skinny really. Not trying. (JR)

Ripe and toasty and something slightly floral, slightly volatile dried fruit. Firm, chewy but smooth. A touch sour on the finish. (JH)

Beauregard’s 2011 reveals dusty, earthy aromas intermixed with hints of crushed rocks and red fruits. It is medium-bodied, somewhat disjointed and finishes with a hint of dilution. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
