Mid crimson. Sweet peppery/floral notes. Easy and a bit low on tannin and character. Just a bit dull. Tea-leaf finish. (JR)

Aromas of oak spice, ripe damsons and a slight leafiness. Firm and dry but with enough fruit to fill out the structure. Not terribly fresh. (JH)

Rather late-picked, almost stewed, nose. With very tarry flavours and really concentrated drying tannins. Overworked. Really uncomfortable to taste. (JR)
About the producer

Beauregard
Named after its founder, Bernard Beauregard, this property is one of few Pomerol addresses to have an actual château – here a stately 18th-century construction designed by the man behind Bordeaux’s Grand Théâtre.
