An attractive Medoc, with mineral and currant character. Medium-bodied, with a solid core of fruit and a medium finish

A blend of 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc, cropped between 30th September and the 16th October, this has a ripe, almost exotic coconut tinged nose with red-cherries, cassis, blueberry and a touch of vanilla. Good definition. The palate is full-bodied with very ripe tannins, a nice citric edge cutting through those thick layers of black fruits, although the finish is rather brutish and showing just a little warmth of alcohol at the moment. Tasted March 2010

Magrez wine. Black! Some freshness on the nose. Then tar on the palate. Painful end. Very drying. Not comfortable to taste.
