Tasting notes
Deep dark cherry colour. Generous, mature and still fragrant fresh aromas of cherry, spice and the beginning of undergrowth but the fruit still dominates. A little less ripe on the palate than on the nose, a bit slight on the finish but not short. The tannins are dry, fine grained and fine boned and it has the capacity and balance to age well over the next 5 years. (JH)

This fat, fleshy, attractive Lalande de Pomerol is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Aromas of creme caramel, vanilla, sweet kirsch and blacker fruits make an appearance in this mid-weight 2011. It is meant to be consumed in its first 4-5 years of life.
