Score 85-87/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Red-ruby. Cherry, raspberry, spicy oak, nuts and leather on the nose. Juicy and on the lean side, but with decent sweetness of fruit. Has a bit less middle to support its firm (oak-enhanced?) tannins and thus seems a little dry on the back.
