This wine from a famous vintage was probably stunning a decade ago but is starting to dry out. Amazingly deep crimson still. Sweet and fragrant, almost floral and then acidity makes its presence felt. Rich, liquorice flavour and even a hint of brown sugar. It must have been stunning but age is beginning to take its toll.
