Bright crimson. A bit mousy on the nose but good sweetness and some freshness. Tart. (JR)

Light, medium-bodied, elegant, fruity, and lacking complexity as well as depth, the 2004 Monbrison is an ideal picnic-styled red for uncritical quaffing.

Dark, healthy crimson. Very heady, ripe and opulent on the nose. Rich and winning, though not fine. Could be a good buy... Pretty dry, slightly green finish. (JR)
