Tasting notes
The softer 1990 is a lovely, rich, complex wine with an impressive dark ruby/purple color, a smoky, floral, cassis-scented nose, medium to full-bodied flavors, and a nicely extracted, elegant finish. Anticipated maturity: 1994-2007.

Dense medium color. Smoke and roasted blackcurrant aromas, with a hint of oak. Somewhat monolithic and chunky at present, but rich and structured for aging. Not showing much personality today. Finishes with ripe, dusty tannins and lingering berry flavor.
