Tasting notes
Pape-Clement’s white wine is a limited, high quality cuvee generally fashioned from equal parts Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, although the blend can vary depending on the vintage conditions. Honeyed melon and jammy apricot aromas soar from the glass of this fleshy, full-bodied, fat, chewy 2003 white. Composed of equal parts Semillon and Sauvignon, it is a pure, ripe, decadently rich wine to enjoy over the next 15+ years.

Pale yellow. Musky aromas of lemon crop, mirabelle and ginger. Rich, fat and very ripe, with smooth pineapple and floral flavors. Conveys a sweeter and more glyceral impression than the young 2004. Finishes very smooth and very long.
(a 50/50 blend of sauvignon blanc and semillon, with no muscadelle; from fruit harvested between August 21 and September 2) Aromas of lanolin, licorice, lemon and spices. Moderately dense on the palate, without the breadth or depth of flavor of the best recent vintages. Offers a lively but slightly hard-edged flavor of grapefruit.
