Red-ruby. Ripe cassis and blackberry aromas, with floral and oaky nuances. Soft and sweet in the mouth, but with enough acidity to frame the juicy dark berry and black cherry flavors. Seems riper than the '96.
About the producer

Labegorce
Historically Château Labégorce was one of the largest estates in the Médoc. It was originally owned by the Grosse family (or Gorce – hence the name) whose ownership dates back to the 14th century.
