2000 Nebbiolo Langhe. Medium red, with a hint of amber at the rim. Expressive aromas of raspberry, dried rose, smoke and marzipan, along with a hint of reduction. Smooth and sweet, with good texture and modest depth. Showing a bit of acidity today but could still use a bit more verve. Finishes with firm, dusty tannins. Good basic nebbiolo.
