This is a straightforward, easygoing, bistro-style of Pomerol that has elegance, good freshness and cleanliness but is not terribly exciting otherwise. Drink it over the next 10 years.

So rich and thick it almost smells cheesy. SO drying! I really can’t see how the consumer would want to buy into this style. Though there is no shortage of matière. (JR)

Elegant stylish, with blueberry and coffee character. Full body, with velvety tannins and a fresh finish. A little short. jamessuckling.com
