Moderately saturated medium red. Cherry, cinnamon and savory earthy aromas are lifted by a floral topnote. Silky, smooth and juicy but not a fleshy style, with slightly elevated acidity initially holding the upper hand over the wine's red fruit and earth elements. But this moderately ripe, youthfully tight wine expanded nicely with air, finishing with dusty tannins and high-pitched floral and orange peel nuances.

Good medium red. Complex, exuberant aromas of black fruits, violet and licorice. Sweet and silky but bright, with lively dark berry and floral flavors framed by harmonious acids. A very refined, fresh and long Chaignots with a lovely sugar/acid balance. Combines the texture of Vosne with the fruit of Nuits.
