Score 74-76/100 · Drink 2002, Robert Parker, Apr 1999

A light strawberry nose with evolving aromas of cedar and pencil-shavings. Very woody on the palate with notes of earth and leaves. Tough and austere. Not pleasurable really. Drinking now. Tasted January 2002. (No tasting note was provided in Issue 122. We have instead included the text of the tasting note from the 1999 Neal Martin’s Wine Journal)
