Tasting notes
Not surprisingly, the 1985 Batailley has the ripeness of the vintage well displayed, but also carries the Batailley firmness and tannic toughness as personality traits. It is well made, reserved, and stylish. Anticipated maturity: Now-2005. Last tasted, 4/90.
