(from clay-based soil with some calcaire Good medium red. Perfumed but reticent nose hints at minerals and leather. Sweeter and suppler than the Vaumuriens, but at the same time more tangy and delineated. Finishes very long and strong, with lovely lift and perfume. Unusually delicate for Pommard-especially in the context of this year. Very promising.
