30% new oak. Light crimson. A little more smoky, less immediately expressive red fruit than the Framboisière 09. More tension and structure, less flesh. Lively and elegant. (JH)

Good deep red. Deep but reticent nose. Fatter, sweeter and richer than the Framboisiere, but showing less primary fruit and more menthol today. Suave in texture but not yet expressing itself. Dominated today by its firm tannic structure. Probably better than it's showing today.
