Score 86/100 · Drink 2003-2008, Robert Parker, Dec 2003
The 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon Gravelly Meadow’s old mushroom and stinky saddle leather characteristics obliterate Cabernet’s black currant, cedary, spice box notes. The finish reveals hard, astringent tannin, suggesting the wine will dry out and become out of balance within 4-5 years. This Cabernet is medium-bodied, but excessively tannic. Tel.
