Tasting notes
Pale, green-tinged color. Cool, very reserved aromas of powdered stone and menthol. Densely packed, concentrated and fresh, showing stony minerality and verve rare for the vintage. Finishes with a note of oatmeal. A terrific premier cru.

Pure but reticent aromas of lime blossom, quinine and mint; very Chablis . Penetrating, juicy flavors of lime, grapefruit, white flowers and mint. Finishes long and firm, with excellent cut, but this taut, thoroughly ripe wine is not at all hard.
Naturally spicy with hints of citrus and very fresh fruit aromas followed by elegant and very pure flavors that are not as dense but beautifully punchy. There is good underlying structure with better precision than most '03s display plus a lovely note of oyster shell on the finish. Allen Meadows, Burghound, Oct01,2004.
