Very deep purple. Rich, sweet, and velvety. This would remind many of old-fashioned Pomerol! Yet it has soft lift, too. Not a bad package for the medium term. Quite lively. Greenness not a problem. A success for the vintage, with a beginning, middle, and finish. (JR)

The dark ruby-colored 2002 offers a big nose of mocha, sweet cherry jam, charcoal, and new oak aromas. This soft, ripe, medium-bodied Pomerol is best consumed over the next 7-8 years.

About the producer
Jeremy Chasseuil took back control of his family estate in 2000. Prior to this the vines and wine were managed by the Moueix group (owners of Château La Fleur-Pétrus, Château Hossana and Château Trotanoy).
