Fragrant and creamy on the nose with raspberry fruit. More subtle in character than other wines in the Mouiex stable but this is deep and refined with silky tannins and a long finish. Very good. FINE+RARE

Dense ruby/purple with fleshy black cherry and black currant fruit, some licorice and incense, this opulent, medium to full-bodied wine displays terrific purity, a subtle dosage of background oak, and earth. Maybe even a hint of truffle can be found in this complex, high-class Pomerol to drink over the next 20 years. This is a beauty and another great example of what heights Pomerol achieved in this vintage.
Dense and rich red for the vintage with plums, dried strawberries, dark chocolate and spices. Full-bodied, layered and displaying a caressing mouthfeel. Flavorful and intense finish. Savory and minerally. Better in 2017.
Deep dark cherry colour. Less immediately aromatic than some. Savoury and juicy and delicious. Refined and velvety and long. Much more voluptuous than most Moueix wines so far tasted. (JH)
