Tasting notes
The 2006 Korem is 55% Bovale Sardo, 35% Carignano and 10% Cannonau. A fresh, vibrant red, the wine reveals layers of crushed rocks, minerals, grilled herbs, dark jammy fruit and French oak in rich, full-bodied frame. This is another beautifully balanced wine from Argiolas.

This is another beautifully balanced wine from Argiolas. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2016. This line-up from Argiolas is remarkable for so many reasons, but let me just list two; the wines are reference-point bottles that capture the magic of Sardinia’s indigenous grapes; and the wines remain exceedingly fairly priced considering the quality of the juice.
