Score 91/100 · Drink 2008-2014, Jay S Miller, Wine Advocate, Feb 2008

The 2006 Sotorrondero is composed of 50% Merlot, 35% Tempranillo, and 15% Syrah aged for 7 months in French and American oak. Purple in color, has an attractive nose of cedar, mineral, spice box, blackberry, and blueberry. This leads to a fat, layered, tasty wine with good balance and length. Drink it over the next 4-6 years. Importer: unknown
