Score 90/100 · Drink 1995-2002, Robert Parker, Oct 1992

Chevillon's Nuits St.-Georges-Les Vaucrains is a blockbuster red burgundy, with sensational concentration, a saturated purple color, a huge, smoky, peppery, over-ripe plum-scent nose, and medium to full-bodied, unctuous, thick flavors that nearly conceal the considerable tannins. While it can be drunk now, it will be even more enthralling after 3-4 years in the cellar. It should last for a decade. Importer: Kermit Lynch, Berkeley, CA.
