Deep, lush, and concentrated it is also pure, fresh, and structured. Loads of cherries can be found in its boisterous character as well as in its long, intense, slightly firm finish. (from vines that are 30 to 50 years of age; aging in 35% new oak) Deep ruby-red color. Quintessential Gevrey aromas of black raspberry, espresso and game; slightly reduced. Sweet and supple but with very good acidity giving backbone to the black fruit and licorice flavors. Finishes with smooth tannins.
