Medium gold. Exotically perfumed, expansive bouquet of mango, yellow peach, smoky lees and floral honey. This smells like high-end white Bordeaux and tastes like one, too. Deep orchard fruit and honeyed melon flavors stain the palate and are firmed by dusty minerality. Finishes with impressive breadth and firm grip. Pretty wild stuff.

Very perfumed, smoky, complex mix of nettles, citrus and spicy French oak (40% new). More vanilla than toast, with orange notes. Sustained, creamy and rich. Very good. (JH)
