Palish medium red. Perfumed, expressive nose dominated by strawberry and raspberry. Sweet and supple but with solid mineral backbone. Longer and firmer than the 2003 example but also accessible and easygoing today. From the estate's youngest vines; the first crop here was 1992.

(these vines are now 12 years old) Barely medium red. Tangy aromas of red fruits, rose petal and stone. Juicy and sweet, with captivating, vibrant flavors of red fruits, stone, flowers and fresh herbs. Finishes with ripe tannins and attractive lingering fruit. The best yet from these vines, although Clair is also fond of the '99 offering.
