(a 60/40 blend of sauvignon blanc and semillon) Pale, green-tinged yellow. Pungent aromas of grapefruit, spearmint, minerals and spring flowers. Sweet, spicy and concentrated, with notes of fresh-cut grass and dusty herbs leavening the very rich texture. As pungently fresh as this is, it's also quite pliant. Tactile, long finishing flavors of grapefruit and pineapple.

This is a strong vintage for Bordeaux’s dry white wines, probably as good or better than 2005. Crisp acidity combined with outstanding concentration and the fact that most of the white grapes were harvested before the rains began in mid-September resulted in an impressive group of wines.
