Tasting notes
Dark crimson. Rich fruitcake aromas on the nose. Fresh and juicy on the palate. A skein of minerality on this. Real interest! Good freshness and potential too. (I also liked their 2009 tasted in London recently.) (JR)

Bright crimson. Bonbon nose – boiled sweets? Straightforward easy stuff but really rather heartless and characterless. Very chewy end. Lack of flesh! (JR)
Performing much better from bottle than it did from cask, the sexy, seductive 2007 Dassault represents a St.-Emilion fruit bomb. Deep black cherry fruit intermixed with incense, roasted herb, and forest floor aromas jump from the glass of this dark plum-colored effort. Seductive, generous, and amply endowed, it can be drunk over the next 5-6 years. It is a sleeper of the vintage.
Good deep ruby-red. Fruit-driven aromas and flavors of black cherry. Offers good ripeness and intensity, with an enticing sweetness and precision for the year. The finish features sweet, nicely buffered tannins and good persistence. Should offer early pleasure.
