Pretty ripe dark damson fruit. Soft, supple and really approachable but still well balanced. Not terribly long. (JH)

Good deep red. Reticent, slightly reduced nose offers licorice, wild herbs, crushed stone and mint. Tight, imploded blackberry and licorice flavors show a light touch. Lovely fruit here but not at all open-knit. Finishes with strong earthy energy and minerality, a bit like the Corton.
