Tasting notes
Score 74/100 · Drink 1989, Robert Parker, Jan 1998

At peak in the mid-1970s, this wine was effusively fruity, ripe, round, and sweet. Now the color has taken on a brownish cast, the flavors seem to be at odds with each other, and the wine tastes like it is cracking up. Some of my friends claim to have drunk much better bottles, so perhaps I have been unlucky. Anticipated maturity: Now-may be in decline. Last tasted, 3/89.
