Tasting notes
The 2002 Pinot Noir Theriot Vineyard offers up sweet plum, cherry, loamy soil, and earth characteristics. While generally a bigger, more muscular effort, it never loses its sense of place or finesse. Consume it over the next 5-7 years. Tel. (707) 823-9586; Fax (707) 823-9589

Good dark red-ruby. Subdued but pure aromas of black cherry, minerals, underbrush and spices, plus an exotic hint of orange peel. Sweet, silky and fat but with lovely pinot precision. Long and gripping on the subtle aftertaste. Lemon now has a 25-year lease on this parcel; after farming the vines organically for two years, he's now going to biodynamic viticulture.
About the producer

Littorai stands as one of California’s most quietly influential estates, defined by organic and biodynamic farming, site transparency, and a restrained, Burgundian sensibility.
