Tasting notes
Unquestionably a success for the vintage, though obviously not a great wine, the 1980 Cos d'Estournel has medium ruby color, an interesting, slightly spicy and herbaceous aroma, and well above average, fruity flavors for the vintage. Anticipated maturity: Now-may be in decline. Last tasted, 10/84.
