The 2011 Bourgogne is an attractive, layered white that clearly shows all the hallmarks of the Sauzet house style. Freshly cut flowers, white peaches and spices all flesh out in a hugely delicious wine. This is a terrific showing at the Bourgogne level.

Really pretty bright and grabby on the nose. Slightly duller on the palate and a bit chewy but very solid. (JR)

A fresh, cool and pure nose features notes of white flowers, lemon and a hint of spice before sliding gracefully into the nicely detailed and vibrant flavors that possess a generous mouth feel and good punch on the utterly delicious finish that displays good if not special depth and length.
