Score 88/100 · Drink 2012-2022, Robert Parker, Feb 2012
The former general administrator of Mouton-Rothschild, Patrick Leon, owns this property (and I believe it is also his residence). He has made a delicious, pure, velvety-textured, deep ruby/plum-colored wine with oodles of blueberry and black raspberry fruit. Some sandy soil notes also make an appearance, and the wine overall is floral and medium-bodied, with outstanding ripeness, impressive texture and a seductive finish. Drink it over the next 5-10 years.

Really very complete and admirable though very dry tannins on the finish. (JR)
