Score 84/100 · Drink 1980, Robert Parker, Jan 1998

Fully mature, the 1966 Le Fleur Petrus has a bouquet of oak, truffles, and soft, ripe Merlot fruit. Medium bodied and amber at the edge, this is a wine that can be kept, but is best drunk up. Anticipated maturity: Now-may be in decline. Last tasted, 1/80.
