Tasting notes
Score 87-88/100 · Drink 2001-2007, Pierre Rovani, Jun 2001

The ruby-colored 1999 Beaune Vignes Franches displays loads of cherries and spices in its aromatics. This medium-bodied wine has excellent depth of fruit to its red cherry, blackberry, and blueberry-flavored character. It is velvety-textured, and has an extremely long, silky finish. Drink it over the next 5-6 years. Maison Louis Latour is represented by a different importer in each state.
