Score 87/100 · Drink 2003-2010, Robert Parker, Apr 2003
A medium dark ruby color is followed by a sweet nose of red and black fruits intermixed with earth, spice, and smoke. With lovely texture, fine purity, and a good follow-through on the palate, this 2000 will drink well over the next 6-7 years.

Bright medium ruby. Spicy, perfumed aromas of raspberry, espresso and mint. Rich, lush and concentrated; substantial and generous. Finishes with firm but ripe tannins and very good persistence. A strong vintage for this Cotes de Castillon property.
