The 2010 Larose Perganson, from the Larose-Trintaudon estate, received some bon mots from both Robert Parker and myself. I will happily raise more score to Parker's here: crisp blackberry and briary on the nose with plenty of cedar and undergrowth coming through. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin that might lead you to think it was a 2009. Supple in the mouth, quite fleshy but adorned with plenty of redcurrant and cranberry on the finish, enjoy this solid Cru Bourgeois over the next 5-8 years.

Thick crimson. A tart streak. Really rather demanding. (JR)
50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark crimson. Much less aromatic than most. But good lift even if rather dangerously transparent. A lighter hand in winemaking than in many of these wines with some subtlety. Layers of flavour here but curiously ready. Quite long. (JR)
Deep lustrous crimson. More life and vivacity than its stablemate Larose-Trintaudon. Polished and quite restrained. The best plots are chosen for this wine. (JR)
