Savoury – almost Oxo-like! Tough but structured with some ripe fruit. Long and reverberant. (JR)

Bright medium ruby-red. Aromas of black cherry and licorice. Chewy and sweet on the palate, with plum and dark berry flavors joined on the back end by a chocolatey note. Not particularly complex but offers good depth of fruit and texture. Ripe tannins dust the front teeth.

This wine has softened up considerably and displays elegant, pure raspberry and soil-infused black cherry fruit notes. It is medium-bodied, quite tasty, and best drunk over the next 12 or so years.
