Score 86-87/100 · Robert Parker
Winemaker Pascal Delbeck appears to have produced an atypically soft, forward, appealing 1997 that will not take long to come around. A dark ruby color is followed by aromas of sweet, mineral-infused, black cherry fruit, medium body, and light tannin in the round, attractive finish. This wine requires 2-3 years of cellaring, and should keep for 10-12 years. Wine Advocate.April, 1998
