Score 83/100 · Drink 1982, Robert Parker, Jan 1998
The 1979 is one of the better efforts from Coutet in this period when the property may have been slightly off its normally top form. Light golden, with a spicy, lemony, floral, fruity bouquet, this wine is elegant, has medium weight, and is clean and crisp in the mouth. Anticipated maturity: Now. Last tasted, 7/82.
